Our love for sauna and cold plunge goes way back — over 20 years, actually. It all started at a friend’s cabin on a lake, where we’d heat up in a wood-fired sauna and jump into the icy water. It wasn’t fancy, but it was magic. And we were hooked.

Since then, we’ve made it a part of our lives wherever we could — road trips, weekend getaways, borrowed saunas, lake dips in every season. We always dreamed of building our own space someday, something small and peaceful, just for us.

But as we started sketching it out, something shifted.

We realized what we really wanted was to share this experience — to create a space where people could come together, slow down, and feel good in their bodies again. So instead of building small, we went big. We built Setri Nordic Spa — right in our own small town on Vancouver Island.
